Activities of sport training centers of different countries in the context of globalization of high performance sport

Abstract

The paper examines the system of environmental factors, which, while not constituting a component of the training process or competitive activity, significantly affect the productivity of athletes’ training and competitive activity. It was found that in the conditions of increasing complexity and multifactor nature of external environment, significance of sports training centers as the structures capable of realizing the potential of environmental factors has been increased. Formation of branched international network of training centers, involving national sports infrastructures, is an important factor in improving competitiveness of the centers, expanding service offering and improving the quality of the services they provide.
