Abstract

The aim of the article is a description of entrepreneurs who have research and development centers status. The paper describes the number, a location, legal form, the size of the share capital and the subject of research and development of these entrepreneurs. The number of entrepreneurs who have research and development centers status is growing. Research and development center are located in big cities and they are commercial companies. Their share capital is usually less than one million zł. In most of their subject of research and development are the technical science and natural science.
