This work aims at presenting potential uses of some works of art in teaching and learning of scientific concepts. We start with the idea that teaching the concepts of physics is a difficult task because the discipline involves different kinds of reading, including mathematical language. These concepts also require a high degree of abstraction in their understanding, which is prevented by textbooks simplistic, lean, with a roundup of equations often decontextualized, without entangling the concepts, without bringing them the student. Found in works of art, literature, music, finally, in various artistic events that humanity has, many possibilities for presentation, dissemination and teaching of concepts in a different way. In our view, the approach of scientific concepts, when conducted in order to entrap them in various spheres of human knowledge, brings great opportunities for enrichment classes and meanings constructed by students, and enhance interdisciplinary activities.
