Abstract
The article starts with a brief outline of the history of the Medical Library of the Charité - University Medicine Berlin. It then describes the library’s organizational status within the Charité and its relation to the Free University and the Humboldt University of Berlin. Then follows a detailed description of its mission and tasks, the wide range of the different sources of information and other services it offers.
