On the endogeneity of the money stock. A comment
Abstract
In this brief note, the author comments on David I. Fand’s “Some Issues in Monetary Economics”, raising several questions on the sharp distinction that Fand draws between the nominal money stock and the real money stock and the criteria used in classifying variables as exogenous or endogenous.
