Key points 1. L-GF uses a standardized number of allogenic pathogen-free platelets instead of autologous platelets used in PRP as a source of growth factors. 2. L-GF injection in patients with SIS has resulted in significant improvement both clinically and sonographically, signifying its potential beneficial effects on tendon healing. 3. L-GF injection could be a mini-invasive intervention for SIS treatment that gives hopeful results.
