The diagnostic challenge of coexisting systemic lupus erythematosus and multiple sclerosis in a young male: Rare but real
Abstract
Key Clinical Message The coexistence of multiple sclerosis (MS) and systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is exceptionally rare, especially in males. This case highlights the importance of early diagnosis and treatment with immunomodulatory therapies like rituximab, which can lead to sustained remission in patients with overlapping autoimmune disorders.
