The emergence of the area of Science and Mathematics Teaching like a scientific community: a documentary study

In order to understand the changes in the area of teaching of Science and Mathematics, were raised by the documents from CAPES between the years 2000 and 2013 more discussions were aggregated from scientific societies on the subject. To support this study, relationships were drawn to the theory of Thomas Kuhn, for paradigms, scientific community, and other related. We make a timeline for the area, it was revealed that emerged from practices that have occurred since the 60s, while having its own area boundary only in 2000, when it moved from the area of Education and was restructured in 2011 to the area of teaching. It is believed that the area will consolidate, because with the increased quantity and quality of graduate programs, most committed researchers will contribute to the identity of the area of teaching of Science and Mathematic in Brazil.
