The teacher assessment is an essential category in the institutional work of any University or Technological Institute. Hence the importance of disclosing the systematization that has occurred in studies in the last three decades. These valuations determine the purpose of the following article: analyzing the performance evaluation of teaching from a new perspective at the Higher Institute of Education (ITF) in Guayaquil, Ecuador. Different opinions about the process of professional evaluation and ways to check their effectiveness and results are also corroborated.
