Navigating trust and Collaboration Challenges: a Neuro-linguistic Programming Approach in Exploring and Understanding Dynamics among Researchers and Algerian Secondary School Teachers of English, ENS Alumni
Abstract
Abstract: Applying the framework of Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), in this qualitative research, we seek to understand and improve the dynamics of trust and collaboration among Algerian secondary school teachers, former students of Ecole Normale Supérieure Assia Djebar Constantine (ENS), and researchers. The study main objective is to investigate ENS alumni’ involvement to participate in an investigation assessing the relevance of their past practical training at ENS to their current teaching roles. Data collection methods include observing participants’ reactions to research invitations, focus group discussions on their collaboration, and analysis of their responses to the invitations and to the questionnaires; revealing three distinct groups of reactions: those who manifest consistent trust and active collaboration, those who initially accept the invitation but subsequently change their decision and opt not to participate, and those who decline completely the invitation. These findings shed light on the nuanced nature of trust and collaboration in researches, presenting practical applications of NLP principles.
