CeO2/CuO@N-GQDs@NH2 nanocomposite as a reusable and efficient catalyst for the synthesis of piperidines
Abstract
An efficient pseudo six-component synthesis of bis-spiropiperidinesis presented by one-pot condensation of formaldehyde, aromatic amine and dimedone or N,N-dimethyl-barbituric acid using CeO2/CuO@N-GQDs@NH2 nanocomposite at room temperature. The catalyst has been characterized by SEM, FT-IR, XRD, EDS, TGA, BET, VSM and XPS. Atom economy, reusable catalyst, low catalyst loading, applicability to a wide range of substrates and high yields of products are some of the notable features of this method.
