The theme of the article is the compatibility between the Shared Sanitation provided for in CPC / 15 and the Legal Topic of Theodor Wiehweg, whose reasoning is produced from the proposition of the problem. Thus, the method used is the deductive one, which starts from general arguments to particular arguments. In this scenario, firstly, the conceptualization and the main characteristics of the Topic are exposed. Then, some brief notes are made about Shared Sanitation. Finally, the processual institute in question is analyzed, from the perspective of the topic. The conclusion is that shared sanitation approaches, prima facie, the Legal Topic of Theodor Viehweg.
