Algorithms for computing chromatic polynomials and chromatic index polynomials

Abstract

Objectives: The aim of this article is to enhance the understanding of the computation of chromatic polynomials and chromatic index polynomials, and to facilitate their practical use in various fields by demonstrating and supporting the proposed algorithms. Results: The theorems for computing the chromatic polynomial and chromatic index polynomial are thoroughly demonstrated and validated in this article. Additionally, the algorithms used in these computations are introduced and explained.
