Typologie des prénoms révolutionnaires algériens de 1954 à 1962

Abstract

In this article, we attempt, through a socio-semantic study, to propose a typology of the attributions of so-called revolutionary algerian first names recorded in Setif civil registers, during the period extending from 1954 to 1962. This study consists in classifying these first names into semantic categories according to the themes they represent, after proving their semantic relevance in relation to other first names through analysis according to the theory of interpretative semantics.
