Intertestualità tassiana nelle “Guerre dei Goti” di Chiabrera: il caso degli ‘amori’

Abstract

The paper describes peculiar aspects of the Guerre dei goti, Gabriello Chiabrera’s first work, by focusing on significant narrative passages. It specifically analyzes the connection between the poem and the Gerusalemme liberata. This relationship, consisting in the systematic use of Tasso's narrative modules related to the theme of love, is conveyed by an intertextual dialogue which involves both textual and structural elements.
