The pupal stage of six Blaps species occurring in the northwest China are described and illustrated in detail: Blaps kiritshenkoi Semenov and Bogatchev, 1936, B. rugosa Gebler, 1825, B. miliaria Fischer von Waldheim, 1844, B. gobiensis Frivaldszky, 1889, B. caraboides caraboides Allard, 1882, and B. femoralis Fischer von Waldheim, 1844. A key to the pupae of Blaps is provided.
