THE INFLUENCE SPECIFIC OF THE COMMUNICATIVE INTERACTIONS OF THE SECTARIAN DISCOURSE (ON MATERIAL OF SUNDAY ADELADGY SERMON)
Abstract
The article is dedicated consideration of the printed sermon materials of Sunday Adeladgy. As the unit of informative influence have been distinguished the textual representations of ‘obedience’ concept. The author's method of revelation of semantic resonance effects has been used. The linguistic analysis of the textual representations of ‘obedience’ concept has been discovered some semantic associates of ‘obedience’ concept such as an obedient person; listening (to God’s word); meditating (over God’s word); humility (to God’s word); payment (for God’s word); blessing; truth; purely; toleration to enemies. The verbal suggestion analysis of the lexicon, phrase constructions, expressive components, over the text construction and principles of realization of some categories has revealed the complex of pragmatic aims which were implicated into text. The complex consists the following components: forming of obedience, payment for tenth, practice is represented by of the social models of passive behavior’s patches and passive forms of emotional reflections, of the textual meditations and the process of activation the concentrated statement of consciousness, practice is represented by of the corporal and common asceticism and restrain the healthy emotional dynamics est. This model of influence focuses attention on some important moments in the process of the interpersonal communication. The audio channel through which a message is received by the recipient is a very important in this process. The understanding of messages is based on the Adeladgy’s interpretations. The personal example is also a very important part of speech. The main idea of the message concentrated in the following phrases: ‘Repeat, please!’ or ‘Follow me because I am a transfer of God’. I am a successful, reach, happy and healthy man because I listen to the God’. According to this influence model, there are the oral, written or visual symbolic forms of message. There are also different results of the influence process: feedback as a change in the system of knowledge, relations and attitudes, behavior as well. The characteristics features of Adeladgy messages let us identify the preacher as a personality who uses manipulative forms of communication. It has been stated that there is an expansive addressed program implemented into the text. The program corresponds to the influence intentions of latent hard verbal programming, which is recognized as destructive activity of all the religious sects. The author has determined the Sunday Adeladgy messages as the pathogenic verbal activity and certain form of aggression. Understanding of the programming character of Sunday Adeladgy sermon texts let us reconstruct the model of destructive verbal-suggestive influence. Step by step analysis of all the stages of verbal manipulations and their influence on the recipients has been proposed.
