Cultura en la enfermería comunitaria Culture in the community nursing
Abstract
Hacer patente la importancia de la Cultura en el desarrollo de la Enfermería Comunitaria es el propósito fundamental de este trabajo. Se analiza, en primer lugar, el concepto de Cultura en su más amplio significado y se adopta la definición de Kagán como la más abarcadora. El fenómeno social de la Enfermería se comprende como fenómeno cultural y se realiza un análisis multilateral del mismo, estudiando sus rasgos y propiedades que al integrarse en combinación dialéctica constituyen este fenómeno. Se estudian algunos de los elementos más importantes que forman parte de este sistema socio- cultural tales como son: • Conocimientos científicos específicos de la carrera • Conocimientos básicos de Sociología. • Capacitación para el enfoque social del trabajo de la Enfermería. • Valores: Humanismo, Creatividad, Lenguaje, Comunicación, Información, Memoria no heredada de la Humanidad. Se propone una definición de lo que podría denominarse "Cultura para el Trabajo Social de la Enfermería" y se concluye que la comprensión de la cultura de los demás y la expansión de la propia ayuda en gran medida a perfeccionar la atención de enfermería en la comunidad, con las familias y distintos grupos humanos.(i)To reveal the importance of culture in the development of Community nursing is the fundamental purpose of this work. First, the concept of Culture in its widest meaning is analized and the definition of Kagán is adopted as the most comprehensive one. Nursing is understood as both, a social and cultural phenomenon and a multilateral analysis of it is carried out, studying the features and properties that constitute this phenomenon when being integrated in dialectical combination. Some of the most important elements that are part of this socio- cultural system are studied. Among them we could mention: Specific scientific knowledge of the career, Basic knowledge of Sociology, Training to achieve the social focus of Nursing; and Values: Humanism, Creativity, Language, Communication, Information ND Non inherited memory of the Humanity. A definition of what could be denominated "Culture for the Social Work of Nurses" is proposed and it is concluded that the understanding of others' culture and the expansion of one's own, helps to a great extent to achieve the perfection of nursing attention in the community towards families and different human groups
