The paper deals with the analogy of the black swan to value the paradigms of dérive, exploration and nomadism of materials, in application to Children's and Young People's Literature. In this direction, the approximations of different paradigms and authors are reviewed, and significant examples and milestones are discussed in relation to these matters. Emphasis is also placed on the role of the different users of LIJ 2.0 and, in particular, of the teacher.
