Detection imaging of impulse borehole well-logging radar
Abstract
Abstract Borehole ground-penetrating radar (hereinafter referred to as GPR) technology is a geophysical detection method in the well, in which, the high-frequency electromagnetic waves are transmitted to stratum and the spread properties of electromagnetic waves in the stratum are used to obtain stratum information, thereby interpreting the subsurface structures. Based on the basic principle of target detection, a set of borehole GPR was developed in this paper. Many detection experiments were conducted on this radar system, and fairly good imaging results were obtained, indicating the superior performance of impulse system-based UWB radar in geological research and mining exploration.
