Vemanaar was a renowned thinker with ardent skills. He is a man of bestowed knowledge and life into a society that has been arid of life. As a poet of high philosophical insights, Vemanaar denounces idol worship and strongly advocates human integration. Being a humanitarian, his writings propose the doctrine of worshipping one form of power to prevent the forces that endanger the integration of humanity. He voices for the economically downtrodden people, discriminated against and marginalized in the name of caste. His revolutionary poems stand for gender equality and create awareness of worldly problems, in both material and spiritual ways. Belonged to an era of pessimistic principles, Vemanaar raised their voice against evils and condemned those authoritarians courageously. The misconception was that his words were filled with brutality featuring him as an anti-activist. He lived a noble and purposeful life though few of his fellows opposed him. With the sovereignty and elegance of the Tamil language, the life of Vemanar is presented without changing the socio-cultural and religious scenario of his time. Vemanaar influenced society with his intellectual ideas that ignited awareness among the people. Subbu Reddiar discovered that his individualistic principles which made him a stalwart personality were abandoned by the authoritarianism of the elite theologians.
