Sources et savoirs : pour une approche complémentaire du risque "submersion marine" en Frise Orientale (Mer des Wadden allemande)

Abstract

This article, through a territorialized case study on the Wadden Sea, and more particularly on the Eastern Friesland region (Germany), proposes an exploration of the sources and knowledges linked to marine submersion risk in this region heavily affected by sea attacks. The text establishes an inventory of existing sources, with elements of review on specific subjects, and also exposes, particularly in the form of working lines, "complementary" sources, less known, but all equally useful when working on this issue. The interest of oral archives and of the ethnographic method, allowing the collection of oral histories, is described, taking as examples local ecological knowledge.
