This article addresses issues such as sexual violence, compulsory heteronormalization and denounces the heterosexual and reproductive objectification of women through the myths of the Vagina Dentata. We propose a historical, literary, artistic and gender perspective reflection of these universal myths where it is the mission of the hero to heteronormalize the monster by pulling out its teeth to turn those genitalia into a heteronormative social construct usable and enjoyable by the male. We establish the timeliness of this issue and vindicate from research and artistic creation with a gender perspective women as persons and not as reproductive or recreational organs at the service of past, present and future heteropatriarchy.
