Legal rooting for the rights of a public employee injured in a work injury in Jordanian law

This study revolves around the legal basis for the rights of an employee who is injured in a work injury or is afflicted with a disease of the profession in the civil service laws, and the Social Security Law to indicate the adequacy of these texts in with regard to insurance of work injuries and occupational diseases According to the ensuring the rights of the injured employee, as there is a category of employees covered provisions of the Social Security Law, however, there is a category that remained under the umbrella of the Civil Retirement Law, although the Jordanian civil service system is the one that governs the public employees segment of state agencies and institutions, but it is devoid of any clear-cut regulation of work injury and occupational diseases, and has not set the legal framework Which is appropriate to the nature of the public employee and the privacy of the public office and their association with the state, where it was better to single out texts specific to the crucifixion of civil service laws and the Jordanian civil service system, which governs a large sector of workers in the state to regulate work injury and occupational diseases and set the legal framework for the employee’s rights and the resulting procedures In the requirement of these rights.
