Health care of children with facial hemangioma in the treatment of beta-blockers
Abstract
Haemangioma is a congenital malformation of the small blood vessels, which belong to the group of vascular anomalies. Multiplication occurs endothelial inner wall of the blood vessels, due to which there is an increase in the number of normal and abnormal tiny blood vessels filled with blood. In 80% of causes they occur on the head and neck, from light to heavy forms. One of the most serious form is a facial haemangioma, which can lead to morbidity. Depending of the form of haemangioma, there are various forms of treatment and nurturing. In modern medicine, the golden standard for the treatment of this disorder is with beta-blockers. Modern approach to the profession of nurses in the care of these patients involves following standards through implementation of the health care process which represents an organized, professional and customized health care needs of children with hemangioma. Quality health care means following standards for the reception of the children in hospital treatment, admission to the ward, in the operating room, Intensive care unit (ICU) and standard for rewinding and care of ulcerated haemangiomas and other procedures of health care during and after hospitalization.
