ANÁLISIS DE LA IMAGEN Y SU IMPORTANCIA EN LA FORMACIÓN DEL COMUNICADOR AUDIOVISUAL
Abstract
El pseudoconocimiento en la construcción de imágenes ha obstaculizado la formación integral del comunicador audiovisual, quien debe adiestrarse en el uso del lenguaje oral o escrito y visual. Para superar esta limitación, se incluyó dentro del pensum de la Escuela de Comunicación Social de LUZ la electiva Análisis de la Imagen, con la cual se descubrieron deficiencias formativas relacionadas con el analfabetismo visual y se permitió el desarrollo de estudios significativos sobre el lenguaje visual. La orientación teórico-metodológica parte de la concepción que se maneja como fundamento del curriculum universitario y se centra en la evaluación (tanto formativa como sumativa) de la experiencia, durante el período 1998-2000.The pseudo-knowledge in the creation of images has blocked the integral education of the audio-visual communicator, who must prepare to use the oral, written and visual language. To overcome this limitation, the School of Social Communication at LUZ included the elective subject "Análisis de la imagen" (Image Analysis), with which important educational deficiencies related to visual illiteracy were discovered and allowed the important studies about visual language. The theoretical-methodological orientation starts with the university syllabus conception: Holistic strategies, educative technology raising, action theory, educative project and the integral education process (Inciarte, 1998). This work is centered in the evaluation of the experience, during the years 1998-2000.
