JUSTIFICATION OF THE FUNCTIONAL AND ORGANIZATIONAL MODEL OF PROVIDING REHABILITATION SERVICES FOR PERSONS WITH THE CONSEQUENCES OF INJURIES AND DISORDERS OF THE musculoskeletal SYSTEM WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF PRIMARY health CARE

Abstract

The aim of the research is to substantiate and form functional and organizational model for providing rehabilitation services to persons with the consequences of injuries and disorders of the musculoskeletal system within the framework of primary health care at the regional level. The following methods were used during the research: systematic approach and analysis, structural-logical analysis, modelling. The materials included published documents and information sources of WHO, normative legal acts of Ukraine regulating the organization of the health care system, results of own research. Results. In order to strengthen the rehabilitation of persons with the consequences of injuries and disorders of the musculoskeletal system in terms of primary health care, we have identified the following components and their definitions. A functional and organizational model of providing rehabilitation care for persons with the consequences of injuries and disorders of the musculoskeletal system as part of primary health care has been formed. The model clearly defines the target group, service providers, their functions, internal and external relationships, formulates expected results, which can be recommended for approval of implementation at the level of individual territorial communities. The functional and informational relationship with other elements of the general system of rehabilitation care at the regional level is also presented – specialized medical care for persons with the consequences of injuries and disorders of the musculoskeletal system, social service institutions, sanatoriums and resort facilities, prosthetic and orthopedic enterprises and higher educational institutions. Conclusions. The components of strengthening the rehabilitation of persons with the consequences of injuries and chronic diseases of the musculoskeletal system in terms of primary health care were determined and characterized, which incented forming the functional and organizational model of implementation at the regional level.
