The article presents the results of empirical research in identifying the influence of parent-child relationships on the peculiarities of learning motivation in younger schoolchildren. In the article determined the specificity of the coherence of parents and children positions on the essence of their relationship. Also determined types of parent-child relationship (optimal emotional contact, excessive emotional distance with the child and excessive concentration on the child) and shows the link with the types of younger schoolchildren learning motives.
