Abstract

Laughter and humor are distinctive topics in traditional and folk lyrical poetry. The elements of humor and comicity appear in folksongs and these elements address to the receiver. This results in the creation of rhetorical devices that are also present in the Chilena, especially in its performative dimension. RESUMEN: La risa y el humor son importantes en la lírica tradicional y popular, pero es un rasgo poco estudiado. El humorismo y la comicidad aparecen en las coplas tradicionales y estos elementos involucran al receptor. Todo ello genera mecanismos presentes también en la Chilena, sobre todo en su performance.
