Study on the effect of different air-entraining agents on the properties of concrete
Abstract
Different types of air entraining agents (sodium dodecyl sulfate (K12), sodium alpha alkenesulfonate (AOS), and fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether (AEO) air entraining agents) were selected to study the properties of concrete. Research has shown that the air entraining effect of the air entraining agent is ranked from high to low as follows: sodium dodecyl sulfate (K12), fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether (AEO), and sodium alpha alkenesulfonate (AOS). K12 has a better foam stabilization effect than AEO; In fresh concrete C50 mixed with air entraining agent, the time of concrete loss is prolonged and positively correlated with the apparent density. The extension of stirring time is negatively correlated with the apparent density. And there is a positive correlation between apparent density and compressive strength.
