Abstract: Cerebrovascular disease has become the second cause of death worldwide, and its risk is mainly attributed to metabolic disorders. This paper reviewed the pathogenesis of obesity-related chronic inflammation and cerebro-metabolic disease. The aggregation of immune cells, heightened secretion of pro-inflammatory factors and vascular endothelial injury are important pathogenic mechanisms of cerebro-metabolic disease in obesity state. New and effective prevention and treatment strategies such as lifestyle intervention, drug immunotherapy and weight reduction anti-inflammatory therapy targeting inflammation are expected to provide reference for reducing the incidence of cerebro-metabolic diseases while enhancing both patient survival rates and quality of life.
