Empirical estimates of the moral state of modern Russian society

Abstract

The results of empirical investigations of the moral state of modern Russian society conducted by psychologists and sociologists are under consideration. The special attention is paid to the moral state of young people as the future of our country. The investigations under consideration including conducted by the author of the article demonstrate the negative state of morality in modern Russia. The trends under the analysis, in the author's opinion, leave no place for optimism. At the same time the basis for it is being laid by the growing anxiety of our society about its moral state.
