杯[6]芳烃可以作为一种外给电子体活化三（2，6-二叔丁基-4-甲基苯氧基）稀土配合物催化ε-己内酯开环聚合.适量加入杯[6]芳烃于三（2，6-二叔丁基-4-甲基苯氧基）稀土催化剂中，提高了ε-己内酯0 ℃下开环聚合的活性和所得聚己内酯的分子量.
