Le passage d’une communauté à un mouvement LGBT en Tunisie : évitement, adaptations et revendications
Abstract
This paper proposes to explore the stages and construction’s modalities of the LGBT movement in Tunisia. Hence, it shows the movement adaptation strategies to the socio-political context. The claims and struggle methods of the LGBT community have adapted to the available means, the flaws of the political and media system, the liberalization following the transition period from 2011 and the opportunities offered by digital media. Still in a structuring and adjustment phase, the movement has however imposed itself on the political and media scenes and is beginning to shake up standards and taboos.
