Abstract
The interest in Alejandra Pizarnik has not waned in recent decades. This article tries to settle some possible directions for its reading, fifty years after the death of the poet. In the first place, a new approach to her relationship with Surrealism and with its main antecedent in the 19th century, Isidore Ducasse. Then, the resonances that can be established between her production and that of the Latin American neo-baroque, of whose first stage she was contemporary, in addition to having had contact, in Paris and Buenos Aires, with Severo Sarduy. Lastly, the attempts to revive the unspecific “myth” of the “poétesse maudite”, in some of the latest books that have been published about her life and work.
