Classification Signs of Changes in the Economy
Abstract
In environmental variability, timely identification of changes is the most urgent task of the socio-economic system, which is designed to ensure its stable functioning and qualitative transformations to enter a new round of development. The analysis of recent studies shows that the approaches to classifying changes presented in the scientific literature differ and require systematization. In this regard, the article's purpose is the systematization of approaches to the classification of changes and the application of the distribution method to changes that are considered from the point of view of activity and performance approaches. The subject of this research is changes as a separate scientific category and their varieties inherent in socio-economic systems of different levels. At the same time, the economy is considered a whole, multi-level, complex system, the elements of which are connected with the external environment; therefore, many factors can cause transformation, which, in the absence of purposeful actions to detect and regulate the process of such changes, can have significant destructive consequences. At the same time, certain changes can generate opportunities to accelerate the transition to a new type of economy and a new quality of life. The approaches presented in the article – activity (change as an action or process – a set of actions) and performance (change as a result) allow you to systematize changes and correctly choose the means of overcoming negative and maximizing their positive consequences. The author distinguished two principle directions of classification, namely essential (from "essence") and parametric (from "parameter"). Parametric and essential classification signs of changes were systematized. The possibilities of applying these classification signs in the context of activity and performance approaches to changes have been revealed.
