Abstract

What kind of relationships did Christiaan Huygens have with all the chemists he happened to meet when in Paris? Though much more substantial than what one guess from some harsh quotations in his letters, it seems impossible to point out a real commitment of Huygens in chemistry that would go far beyond individual friendship.
