In view of the corrosion of reinforced concrete structure for power transmission and transformation, a corrosion detection method based on microwave reflection method is proposed. CST three-dimensional electromagnetic simulation software is used to establish a numerical simulation model of reinforced concrete structure corrosion. By analysis of the variation law of return loss, the influence of reinforcement concrete with different corrosion degrees on the microwave detection effect is revealed, and the feasibility of this method is verified. The simulation results show that the detection effect is greater when the waveguides are vertically placed and the lift-off distance is 8 mm. Microwave can effectively detect and distinguish steel bars with different corrosion degrees.
