A Study of Situational Irony in Bahan Forsie’s Story

Abstract

Bahman Forsy is one of the Contemporary Writers who has Presented Valuable Works in the Field of Fiction to the Literary Community. In this Research, an Attempt is made to Explore the Techniques of Creating Situational Irony in Persian Stories. In this Type of Irony, the Word does not Play much role, but the Satirist Creates a Scene that is Comical to Imagine and Visualize. Studies Show that the Key Factor in Creating Humorous Situations in "Night One, Night Two" is the Use of Humorous Behavioral tTricks and in "Black Candy" is the Use of Verbal Tricks that, in Addition to being Comic, they Subtly Mock the Cultural System of the Society.
