Measurements and the measurement uncertainty: a contribution based on conventions and international resolutions

Abstract

This article introduces the updated internationally adopted methodologies for the calculation of the measurement uncertainty, in a didactic and progressively way, through two simplified examples of a direct and an indirect measurement.
