Abstract

The article Food journalism versus e-reviews – challenge or threat? assesses the current situation in food journalism, which in today’s world is all about Internet reviews, “best” lists or restaurant ranking systems. The author reflects on why the Internet might become the enemy of informed food journalism, and presents the four main criteria for the evaluation of restaurants in reviews.
