Assessment of Out of pocket expenditure among beneficiaries of Janani Shishu Suraksha Karyakram in rural areas of Jabalpur district, India

Abstract

Introduction Income disparity is a huge issue in a country, majority of the poor people in our country is at the base of pyramid, richest being on the top. Government of India launched Janani Shishu Suraksha Karyakram (JSSK) scheme throughout country to further enhance the institutional delivery and reduce the out of pocket expenses.
