Most public school students present a low level of learning due to several factors. Among these students, the group that has the lowest economic conditions and is in a situation of social vulnerability is even more harmed. One consequence of poor achievement is the difficulty that low-income students face in gaining leadership positions in the job market. For this reason, a partnership was established with the Cristo Rei State School in the small city of Pedro Afonso, in the state of Tocantins, seeking to identify high school students (grades 1 to 3) in a vulnerable situation and with low school performance. These students were offered a course from August to November 2018, seeking to use practical and audiovisual materials to provide the knowledge of the exact sciences. At the end of the course, there was observed an average increase of 95% in the students evaluations.
