ANALYSIS OF THE LEVEL AND CONDITIONS OF MANIFESTATIONS OF PHYSICAL VIOLENCE SCHOOLCHILDREN 14–16 YEARS (ON THE EXAMPLE OF THE VORONEZH REGION)

Abstract

Purpose. Identification of the level and conditions of physical violence among schoolchildren of 14–16 years. Methodology. The basis of the research is formed by methods of analyzing statistical data obtained from the results of police activities, the activities of territorial commissions for minors and the protection of their rights, as well as prevention councils of educational institutions; psychological and pedagogical diagnosis (Bass-Darki questionnaire); comparison of statistical data with the results of psychological and pedagogical diagnostics in the context of gender, territorial, addictive, family, educational conditions of schoolchildren who have committed violent crimes or are prone to violent behavior. Results. The results of the work consist in the fact that the author reveals the general and specific significant and insignificant conditions determining the violent behavior of 3 groups of schoolchildren aged 14–16 years old: those who have committed violent crimes; registered in preventive bodies, but not held criminally liable; showing an excessive level of hostility and aggressiveness. Practical implications. The results of the study can be used to develop effective mechanisms for the pedagogical prevention of physical violence among schoolchildren in educational institutions.
