INFORMATION PROTECTION BY THE DIFFERENT BRANCHES OF RUSSIAN LAW

Abstract

The article analyzes the definitions of information and the peculiarities of its regulation by the norms of various branches of Russian law, which are given in the normative acts and juridical literature. The author formulates his own approaches to the distinguishing of information having the public-juridical character and that having the private-juridical character. He also views information from the criminal law point of view.
