The publication “Tibouchina spp.: Dwarf Tibouchina, Glorytree” provides an overview of the dwarf tibouchina plant. This species, known for its compact growth and small, vibrant purple flowers, is suitable for use as ground cover or in hanging baskets. It thrives in USDA hardiness zones 10 through 11 and prefers part shade to part sun. The plant is not native to North America and is not known to be invasive. It requires moderate growth conditions and is relatively pest-resistant. First published October 1999.
