The article is dedicated to the teaching of Spanish as professional language in MGIMO – University and to the analysis of a special methodology the authors suggest in their pioneering manual «Professional Spanish in the field of international relations. Levels B2 – C1» in particular. The manual focuses on the formation of linguistic and communicative competences that are necessary for students studying Spanish as the language of their future professional work in international area.
