Peran Manajer Kepala MIN Jejeran Bantul dalam Implementasi Manajemen Berbasis Madrasah
Abstract
This research is intended to know the role of school principal as manager in implementation of Madrasah Based Management (MBM), and to know the supporting and inhibiting factors of MBS implementation in MIN Jejeran Bantul Yogyakarta. This is a field research with qualitative approach. This research is a descriptive analytic research, data collection is done by interview, observation and documentation. The collected data is then analyzed and described in narrative form. The results of this study indicate that Madrasah Based Management requires the head of madrasah to be able to perform its role as manager in improving the quality of education and the existence of madrasah. The head of a madrasah as a manager can perform his managerial process by empowering teachers and staff in accordance with their capacity and duties, then by involving all stakeholders to support the madrasah program. A madrasah head should be able to set an example, provide evaluation and direction and be responsible and accountable for its policies.
