Abstract

In the title carboxylate-bridged binuclear copper complex, [Cu2(C4H5O2)4(C5H6N2)2], each CuII ion has a distorted square-based pyramidal environment formed by one N and four O atoms. The asymmetric unit contains two halves of two centrosymmetric molecules, with Cu...Cu separations of 2.6498 (8) and 2.6528 (8) Å.
