The article discusses the features of Pasternak's poetics, which influenced K. Simonov’s “For neighbors in the nomad tent” cycle. The work is based on a comparative method of research. It is concluded that the legacy of Pasternak is attracted at various levels. Thus, Simonov masters a five-stop anapaest uses colloquial grammatical forms of nouns and adverbs with intensity and spontaneity semantics. It is shown that he adopts paths based on everyday images and “flexible pledges”, he resorts to the transformation of conversational idioms, uses syntactically unsupported repetitions and a special type of everyday questioning. The poetics of Pasternak helps Simonov to create pictures of military life and incorporate the military experience into continuous being.
